CUSCO - OLLANTAYTAMBO – MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO
The tour to Machu Picchu begins with pickup from your hotel at 8:00 am, then you will be boarded on a bus that will take you to the train station in Ollantaytambo, where you will take the Inca Rail train on the Voyager service at 11 :15 a, to the town of Aguas Calientes. The trip lasts approximately 2 hours, on this trip you will be able to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the sacred valley of the Incas next to the Vilcanota River, and the extensive fields of corn, quinoa, cereals and flowers. Upon arrival, there will be a brief break to collect luggage and use the bathroom before boarding the bus for a 30-40 minute ride to the entrance to Machu Picchu.
At 2:15 p.m., the guided walking tour of the Inca ruins with your guide will begin. This visit will last approximately 2.5 hours. After the tour, take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes where you can have dinner in a typical restaurant in the town. At 7:00 p.m., the train returns to the town of Ollantaytambo, and then you will be transferred back to the city of Cusco where you will arrive at approximately 11:00 p.m.
