Manu Green Lodge (1 night): This first Lodge is located in the town of Pilcopata, you will rest in a comfortable bed, which has a mesh for mosquitoes, and electricity service. The rooms are double, triple. It also has a large dining room where you can have your food with other travelers. The showers are cold water, since hot water is not needed in the jungle due to the tropical climate. The bathrooms are shared, and the material from which this Lodge is built is wood.

Amazon Eco Lodge (2 nights): The Amazon Eco Lodge is located deep in the Amazon jungle of the Manu National Park, surrounded by a thick jungle full of wild animals, very close to the Manu River. From this lodge we go to explore its attractive rain forests, where you will learn about the flora and fauna of the Manu National Park. The rooms have comfortable beds and mosquito nets, it has double and triple rooms, with electricity service for a few hours, since the solar panel is used, it also has independent bathrooms and cold water showers.

Casa Matsiguenka (2 nights): Casa Matsiguenka is an eco-tourism initiative. It is launched by the two main communities in the 1990s. The mission of the project is conservation and the income generation for residents of the park. The eco-lodge is an initiative to render inhabitants a way to participate in jungle tours and strengthen their culture. The design inspires the local’s way of life.

There are four bungalows with three double bedrooms in each.Here guests can enjoy an authentic and comfortable place to stay. This lodge is an ideal temporary home for exploring the fabled rainforests and wildlife. Under the initiative, tourists may avail the opportunity to witness, learn and participate in cultural activities. This includes local archery lessons and hunting expeditions. They guide most activities. They also do hikes along trails of this rainforest.

Don’t skip a visit to Cocha Salvador. It is an oxbow lake featured in many wildlife documentaries. Here you can spot Giant Otters, Black Caimans, harpy eagles, water birds, macaws, and other jungle wildlife. Piranha fishing is one of the popular activities here.

• Transport in Minivan: Our expeditions to the Manu National Park are made in small private Minibuses. The route where we use land transportation is between Cusco and the cloud forest of San Pedro (1st day – last day), and then to the town of Pilcopata, where it will wait for us until the day of our return to Cusco. The time approx. driving time is 6-7 hours. A part of the road is paved and the rest is gravel.
• Transport in Motor Boats: In the Amazon jungle, most of its population moves in motor boats, the rivers of the Manu jungle, are relatively mighty, but excellent for navigation. Our boats are comfortable, with a capacity of 12 to 15 people, and roofs for the sun; all passengers must wear life jackets. Depending on your visit program, there are days where you travel 5 to 6 hours, and sometimes only 1 to 2 hours.

• Qualified guides: Our guides have dominion of English and Spanish, professional education and official certification. Our guides are professionals with studies in biology, ecological tourism and specialization in Amazonian flora and fauna, many of them belong to the tribes of the Manu National Park. They’ll also take care of your safety, health and comfort during the trip so you can enjoy the tour worry-free.
• Cook: Our cooks are people with more than 10 years of experience in preparing food for our visitors. They will offer you their best talent by serving you the typical dishes of Peruvian cuisine, prepared with local ingredients. Our passengers love our food! We respect all diets, so let us know if you have any particular restrictions on your reservation form and remind your guide during the briefing.

• Meals: 5 breakfasts, 5 lunches and 5 dinners. Special menus such as vegetarian or vegan meals are available without additional costs. The foods we offer to customers are carefully chosen in the markets of Cusco, we work with suppliers who provide us with organic products, and we practice fair business to benefit farmers directly.
• Tea time: In our Lodges, we’ll serve you popcorn, cookies, coffee, chocolate, tea, hot water, etc. After a long day of hiking, you won’t have to wait until dinner to fill your stomach.
• Snacks : We’ll offer you delicious snacks in a cloth bag: local fruits, cookies, chocolates, candy, etc.

• Pre-departure briefing: You will meet your guide and group in our office for an orientation before your tour.  The meeting will be day before the trip begins.
• Entrance Tickets to Manu National Park
• First aid: All our tour guides have received specialized training in first aid. We hold mandatory training sessions with our guides every February. Your guide will always carry a first aid kit to face basic emergencies (altitude sickness, traveler’s diarrhea, cuts, scrapes.) and oxygen. If necessary, we’ll evacuate you from the path as quickly as possible and ensure that you arrive at a clinic for treatment.
• Water: We will provide you with all the water you need. The water is boiled, filtered, and cooled. You must bring your water bottles or camelback. We recommend a capacity of 3 liters. You’ll be able to fill your bottles during each meal.
• Rubber Boots: In all our expeditions in the Amazon jungle of the Manu National Park, our clients must wear rubber boots, for their comfort and to avoid the risk of insect or snake bites. In our lodges we have boots of all sizes.
